Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and initiate new business sales for Personal, Commercial and Consulting Services.
  • Identify, organize and address risk via holistic risk management model the Deland, Gibson Difference.
  • Assists in the processing of new business. Includes contacting customers to finalize sales, service and consulting transactions.
  • Identifies prospects, utilizing personal network, identified Industry verticals and develop referral sources.

On-boarding includes:

  • Licensing within 2-4 weeks.
  • Attends Offsite Advisor Training with InCite Performance Group.
  • Attends Internal training on presentation skills, business acumen and DGDifference.
  • Completes “Hire Right Program” an Advisor guided personal improvement plan outlining a path to success through the first three years of employment.
  • Weekly meeting with sales leader.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a successful networker.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training, plus 1-3 years of relevant work experience necessary.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, analytical and soft skills necessary.
  • Previous sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying time constraints.
  • General working knowledge of companies services, products and marketing techniques, insurance contracts, preferred but not required.
  • Having a large personal or business network is essential
  • Must be entrepreneurial with a high level of business acumen.
