Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates, Inc. (DG), a Massachusetts Insurance Agency, has hired Dan Head as a Senior Benefits Advisor. Mr. Head comes to Deland, Gibson with over ten year’s experience in delivering leading-edge employee benefits consulting and products to his clients. Mr. Head will focus on specialized consulting, education, and product offerings for employee benefits including group health, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.
Chip Gibson, Vice President of Deland, Gibson Insurance, remarked, “The landscape of employee benefits is in flux so we see opportunity to better educate and advise businesses on human capital, and to aid in lowering their total cost of benefits.”
Mr. Head joins DG to help organizations design, fund, and administer health, welfare, and voluntary benefit plans that recruit and retain top talent. Dan’s passion lies in implementing measures that reduce medical costs, engage employees and improve culture and wellness. He accomplishes this through communication and education, HR platforms, and the design and management of wellness programs. Dan has earned the Group Benefits Disability Specialist designation and is pursuing the CEBS designation (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) from IFEBP and The Wharton School.
