On March 2nd, twelve people from the Deland, Gibson team volunteered an evening at The Abundant Table in Norwood. The evening was to help fulfill the non-profit’s mission “We Feed Those In Need“. Hot dogs were grilled, baked beans were cooked and salad was prepared for takeout or in-house meals for over 80 people in the surrounding cities and towns of Norwood.
Elinor Juviler of the Deland, Gibson Giving Committee said: “We had a lot of fun and it was nice to work as a team, outside of the office, helping others. I think everyone found it to be a very rewarding experience and we are looking forward to the next time that we can prepare a meal for the Abundant Table.”
