What is your favorite thing about Deland, Gibson?
The atmosphere here at Deland, Gibson is the equivalent to having a second family. Everyone is friendly, helpful and understanding. They truly care about how you are doing inside and outside of work. They want you to succeed individually just as much as they want to succeed as a business. I enjoy going to work every day and I haven’t always been able to say that.
What is your favorite aspect of Insurance?
I have learned so much about insurance and there are things I think of now that never came in to play for me prior to being in this industry. I have to say my favorite aspect of insurance is being able to help people and give them a better understanding of the options available to them and explaining the reasons behind them.
What hobbies do you enjoy doing away from work?
I like being outside when I can. I enjoy camping with my family and friends and any time I get to be by the ocean is a good day.
What is a work accomplishment you are most proud of?
I have worked hard at learning so much in this industry and the knowledge you can obtain is endless due to all the different situations and the many insurance companies we work with. Having an employer that encourages education, I am proud of myself for obtaining my insurance license having been brought into the DG team knowing very little about insurance. Everything we do here at DG is a team effort and everyone has always been willing to stop what they are doing to help. We are always learning something new every day because every one’s situation is different, that requires personalized attention in our ever-changing world, so we will never stop learning. “Tell me and I forget. What is your favorite sports team? Or event to follow?
My family and I enjoy seeing the Bruins in-person. Besides being a fast pace and exciting sport, the fans make it great!
Do you have any favorite memories with your family stemming from DG?
*D,G had the pleasure of sending Kim and her family to a Saturday Bruins game. Not only was she appreciative but it was also her daughter’s first game ever!*
I just wanted to thank you again for the Bruins Tickets to this past Saturday’s game. My family really enjoyed it but for my three-year-old daughter, her little face says it all. It was her first Bruins game and she absolutely loved it …
We are thrilled to be able to send our team out to support local Sports events, like the Boston Bruins at TD Garden. It makes it even more special for us when our team shows appreciation back and finds joy in attending the events!
