Since 2011 The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has created another revenue stream: Fishing Permits! Over the past summer, I think the state was pretty lenient about this as I didn’t hear of anyone being pressed about having their permit. After seeing this advertised at the NE Boat show; I don’t think the summer of 2012 will be treated the same.
