Deland, Gibson Insurance At the Chubb Charity Challenge
On July 9th Deland, Gibson Participated in the Chubb Charity Challenge in Hingham at Boston Golf. It is a golf tournament where local agencies who represent Chubb participate in a charity tournament also representing and playing for a charity of choice. There are over 10 teams and non-profits represented. We at Deland, Gibson proudly represented Cotting School.
This is the 8th year in a row that Deland, Gibson has fielded a team and over the years DG has raised over $15,000 for local causes.
It was a beautiful day on the course and the Deland, Gibson team had a lot of fun… Both the temperature and the scores were high, but the goal was accomplished by raising a lot of money for local charities. DG was able to win $1,000 for Cotting School.
Deland, Gibson is also helping the school via an internal book drive. Books are being collected in lieu of paying money to wear jeans on “Jeans Friday”. If you happen to be coming by the office please bring a book that you no longer need so it can be collected and sold to raise money for the school!
